Seniors Ashante Griffin and Matthew Gregory were recognized as the Rotary Club of Hertford's Students of the Month for January 2020. Recognition took place at a Rotary Breakfast on February 18, 2020, where students spoke about their academics, accomplishments, career goals, and future endeavors. These students genuinely exemplify "service above self."

The PCHS family is participating in a competition sponsored by Trillium Health Resources to receive $5000.00 to purchase school supplies. To obtain the funds, PCHS has to be one of the first five schools to have 50% of our staff registered and complete two of their qualifying courses. Additionally, Trillium is offering the first 50 parents who complete two of the qualifying courses a one-time $20.00 Amazon Gift Card. Trillium provides resources to staff and parents concerning safe schools and healthy kids.

PCHS Bus Drivers were celebrated throughout the week with various goodies in appreciation of "Love the Bus" Week. Hats off to them for the AWESOME job that they do every day!

Anisha Spellman, an Exceptional Children's teacher at Perquimans County High School, is the 2019-2020 Perquimans County Schools EC Teacher of Excellence. Spellman's peers recognized her for consistently delivering high-quality instruction and incorporating innovative instructional programs that demonstrate positive outcomes for students.
